J-rock band ONE OK ROCK to perform at Singapore Indoor Stadium on 20 Jan 2018

Japanese rock band ONE OK ROCK will be returning to Singapore on 20 Jan 2018 for their largest concert on the island yet.

The band, who shot to international fame with their single “The Beginning”, will be performing at the Singapore Indoor Stadium for their ONE OK ROCK AMBITIONS ASIA TOUR 2018, Japanese artiste management company Amuse said in a statement on Friday (29 Sept).

While they have previously performed at *SCAPE, the Hard Rock Coliseum and Fort Canning Park, the Indoor Stadium will be their biggest venue in Singapore yet.

Tickets are priced at $228 (Premium Rock Zone), $168, $138, $118, $98 and will go on sale on 6 Oct, 11am via Sports Hub Tix ticketing channels.

The group consists of of vocalist Takahiro Moriuchi (TAKA), leader and guitarist Toru Yamashita (TORU), bassist Ryota Kohama (RYOTA) and drummer Tomoya Kanki (TOMOYA), and are known for fusing music styles like emo and rock.

Earlier this year, ONE OK ROCK’s eighth album, “Ambitions”, became the group’s first studio album to debut on the US Billboard 200.

Their single “The Beginning” was used as the theme song of the live-action adaptation of popular manga and anime “Rurouni Kenshin”.
