Yesterday, the “Maid in Manhattan” star joined Venus Williams, Michael B. Jordan, Lady Gaga and more in promoting Well Certified, an organization working to certify buildings for proper health and safety standards during these unprecedented times. For the video promotion, Lopez opted for a chic take on the growing monochrome styling trend.
Her ensemble included a tuxedo-inspired shirt dress that hit just above the ankles, highlighting her designer sandals.
Coming from Jimmy Choo, J-Lo’s teetering sandals were hard to miss thanks to their strappy crisscrossed toe and silver-tone chain detailing. Accented with hanging charm details, the white sandals also featured a securing ankle strap and a towering 4-inch lift. The Metz sharp square-toe front gave an on-trend finish to the style, which typically retails for $995 but is available on sale for $547 at Farfetch.com.
Lopez oftentimes frequents heels from Jimmy Choo when it comes to her glam lool and even tapped the brand’s 6-inch platform sandals for her performance on Inauguration Day last week. Hidden under the hem of her glittering Chanel pants was the brand’s Max sandals; the towering sandals measure retail for $950 at Fafetch.com.
It was just last year when the Grammy-nominated singer herself dipped her own toes into the footwear industry. Though she had previously worked with a mix of brands on collaborations and campaigns, the JLo Jennifer Lopez collection at DSW is the musician’s first solo line; the label includes a variety of stylish footwear ranging from sky-high platforms and glittering pumps to strappy sandals, all retailing from $59 to $189.
As if all of her titles were not enough, the past few seasons alone, the “Let’s Get Loud” singer also has been featured in three major spring ’20 campaigns as well as a few top names for fall ’20, too. She modeled for Versace, stars in ads for Guess and Coach on top of serving as a judge and executive producer for “World of Dance.” She also teased a new J-Lo Beauty line earlier this season as well.
Hop on the chain sandal trend like Jennifer Lopez in these chic takes on the silhouette.
