J. Cole recruits DaBaby and Lute in new video for 'Under the Sun'

"Under the Sun" appears on the star-studded compilation by J. Cole's Dreamville Records, "Revenge of the Dreamers III."

A few months after the mixtape release, J. Cole has unveiled the accompanying visual for "Under the Sun," which was directed by Scott Lazer, Aisultan Seitov, David Peters and Chad Tennies.

The video opens on Cole, DaBaby and Lute entering a local bodega in New York to order bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches, which look surprisingly dry.

Once fully satisfied, the three rappers hit the streets, with J. Cole walking around the city with a pair of disobedient dogs.

Longtime collaborator Kendrick Lamar does not appear on the music video for "Under the Sun," although he provided vocals for the song's chorus as Dreamville president Ibrahim Hamad announced on Twitter.

"Under the Sun" marks the first official collaboration between North Carolina rappers J. Cole, Lute and DaBaby.

The musicians are three of the 34 collaborators enlisted for Dreamville Records' latest compilation album, "Revenge of the Dreamers III," which arrived in July.

Other guest artists include T.I, Young Nudy, Buddy, Maxo Kream, Mez, Vince Staples, Ty Dolla $ign, Dreezy, Smino and Guapdad 4000, among others.

As for the rest of the Dreamville roster, Atlanta hip-hop duo EarthGang has recently unveiled their long-awaited debut album, "Mirrorland."

Ari Lennox is currently on the road with Lizzo for the North American leg of the chart-topper's "Cuz I Love You Too" tour. The Dreamville signee shared her debut studio album, "Shea Butter Baby," last May.
