Iza Calzado reunites with her COVID-19 nurses

10 Jul – Iza Calzado has recently reunited with the medical frontliners who took care of her back when she was hospitalised for COVID-19.

The actress posted a photo of her with a group of nurses from Asian Hospital whom she said had been there for her during her treatment, saying that they gave her the best love and care any patient could ask for.

"Together with my brilliant doctors, I really couldn't have asked for a better team to help me fight and beat COVID-19. I am forever grateful," she added.

Calzado was the second Filipino celebrity who was tested positive with the coronavirus back in late March, though she made no mention as to how she contracted the virus in the first place.

The actress also went back to the hospital two months later to donate her plasma to be used to help other COVID-19 patients.
