Iya Villania won't worry about giving birth in a hospital
20 Jul - TV personality Iya Villania is not particularly worried by the notion of giving birth in a hospital during the pandemic, seeing that she is soon to deliver her third child.
As reported on PEP, the actress, who spoke about her birthing plan during a press interview recently, stated that her decision to give birth in a hospital has not changed despite the number of COVID-19 cases in the country.
"Now that we're here, I try not to let it get the best of me. I don't want to worry. I believe that I'm not the only mother who is giving birth in the hospital, so I'm quite positive that they are in control of that situation in the hospital, that everyone is doing their part to protect themselves and their families," she said.
Villania also echoed husband Drew Arellano's previous statement, that she also would like to know the process so that other mothers who would be giving birth soon would know what to expect.
As to why she would not opt for home birth like Max Collins or Rica Peralejo, the actress said that she did consider it when she was pregnant with Primo, and that there is a reason why it did not happen the second time with Leon and again this time.
"I don't think I have it in me," she added.
