Iskra Lawrence feels "sexier than ever" six months into her pregnancy.
The model and body positivity activist announced she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Philip Payne back in November, and she regularly shares updates about her pregnancy with her followers on Instagram.
In a candid video shared on YouTube, the 29-year-old opened up about the body image struggles she's been facing as her body changes and admitted that she was originally concerned that her body dysmorphia and eating disorders would be triggered when she became pregnant.
However, the model said she is feeling "sexier and (more) beautiful" than ever.
"If you are on your journey to conceive, I'm sending you all my love," she continued. "Just know that if you're not able to (conceive), your body is worthy, it's beautiful, and I love you so, so much."
She reassured her fans and followers that changes during pregnancy deserve to be embraced, and said that anxieties and previous body image issues can be triggered because "it is something being out of your control and your body changing in a way you’ve never seen before."
"I think it's a really wonderful, positive challenge to be taken out of your comfort zone and to find the ways that your body is changing and to continue to love yourself in that journey, whatever that looks like for you," she added.
Iskra went on to explain that she's been suffering from some physical side effects since falling pregnant, such as chest acne and markings on her stomach. She's been continuing to work out and look after her changing body, doing exercises such as low-intensity HIIT workouts, jump-roping, and low-impact TRX sessions.
