Isabel Granada's remains arrives in Philippines

10 Nov – The late actress Isabel Granada received military honours by the Philippines' Air Force as her remains arrived in the country on 9 November.

According to Rappler, the actress, who passed away after more than a week of coma following her collapse during an event in Doha, Qatar, was welcomed home with her casket draped in the Philippine flag at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

According to sources, Granada, who was a licensed pilot, received such honour since she served as Airwoman Second Class Sergeant for two years.

Her remains will be brought to the Santuario de San Jose Parish in East Greenhills, Mandaluyong City, and public viewing will start on 10 November.

The final mass and cremation will be held on 12 November.

She was 41.
