Isabel Granada's mother breaks down at Walk of Fame
23 Nov – Isabel Villarama, mother of late actress Isabel Granada couldn't help but break down at the event to unveil the actress' posthumous star at the Walk of Fame Philippines.
As reported on GMA, Villarama, known by her nickname Mommy Guapa, recently appeared at the event on behalf of the late actress and shared that she still can't believe that her daughter is gone.
Granada passed away earlier in Qatar this month after collapsing at an event following a brain aneurysm.
"I am happy with the honour given to her, but it saddens me too. Just like the first few days, I can't believe that she is gone," she sobbed.
Mommy Guapo shared that it had been Granada's dream to one day have her own star at the Walk of Fame.
"It's sad because she would personally accept this award if she is still here," she said.
At the same time, Mommy Guapo thanked the fans for all the support they have given Granada.
"Without them, there would be no artiste. Thank you so much," she added.
