Irene Wan's new movie postpones release again

8 Apr - Irene Wan's new movie, "The Fallen" has postponed its release yet again due to COVID-19.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress shared the bad news on Instagram, writing, "Because of the current pandemic, the release of "The Fallen" has been pushed back to May. I am not concerned about it being delayed. I only hope that the pandemic will end as soon as possible so not to let more people suffer."

She echoed the sentiment to the media, saying that she only hopes for things to return to normal soon.

"The film can be released at any time. It's no longer the thing that I am most anxious about. But I have been seeing the news every day and hoping that the number of cases would turn zero," she said.

As for herself, Irene said that she has been playing the dutiful citizen by staying at home with her family.

"You can find your own fun at home. The whole family can cook and eat together, exercise together, listen to music, read, and play with the dog. I believe the painful days will be over soon and the sun will shine again," she said.
