Irene Wan begins 14-day quarantine for work in Shanghai

12 Aug – After months of being cooped up at home in Hong Kong due to the pandemic, Irene Wan recently revealed that she is now in Shanghai to begin working again.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress recently posted several photos of her undergoing her 14-day quarantine in mainland China, which she has to complete before she can finally start on her commercial and movie projects.

She wrote, "I lived in isolation for the first week in Shanghai. I read the script, did sports, and watched movies. The time was very fulfilling. Please rest assured."

In another post, Irene stated that she has been basking in the sun and breathing the fresh air from the terrace of her room, adding that she has been provided three meals a day by the hotel.

However, the actress will only stay for a week in isolation at the hotel, and will then move to a friend's house on her second week.

"You can actually choose to isolate yourself at home in Shanghai, and it so happens that a friend's house here is currently unoccupied," she added.
