Donald Trump’s hair has been a constant source of mystery and speculation thanks to its unusual wispy texture and yellowy tinge.

But the US President has always insisted that his thatch is totally natural and 100 percent his own.

But a rather revealing clip has gone viral on Twitter, and it shows his hair behaving somewhat oddly.

As he makes his way up the steps of presidential jet Air Force One, the force of the engines is seen blowing Trump’s hair in almost every direction – appearing to highlight a pink bald patch at the back of his head.

The clip has received more than 1,600 retweets after it was posted on Twitter by TV producer Jensen Karp, with users sharing their emotions upon seeing the footage,

Earlier this year, the secrets of the President’s thatch were revealed in Michael Wolff’s explosive book ‘Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House’.

In it, Wolff revealed that Trump’s daughter Ivanka frequently spilled the beans about the do to herfriends.

Trump’s head, she says, is a ‘furry circle’ with a section of bald pate in the middle (left after scalp-reduction surgery), and that the President sweeps his hair up to cover the bald bit.

Wolff writes: ‘She often described the mechanics behind it to friends: an absolutely clean pate – a contained island after scalp-reduction surgery – surrounded by a furry circle of hair around the sides and front, from which all ends are drawn up to meet in the center and then swept back and secured by a stiffening spray.’

Wolff’s bombshell book also claims that the orange tinge to the presidential barnet is due to anti-grey preparations, which give Trump’s hair its distinctive flame-coloured hue.

Trump has defended his hair against accusations of fakery on numerous occasions – challenging people to touch it, and saying, ‘I do not wear a rug. My hair is one hundred percent mine.’
