Simran shared, "My father gifted me a Dog when I turned 19 and after that, I always had this thing of adopting a dog. I and Aashu came to the conclusion that we will do it together. And then we adopted one mix breed. Later when some bad phase stuck us and we stopped talking to each other our dog played a very important role in getting us back together. I think both of us have found the soul dog in 'Taxi'. Without him, I just can't stay. Whenever he is at his place I start feeling incomplete. And if he is with me Aashu keeps calling me all the time to inquire about him. I talk to him on video calls and he responds also". She believes they are extremely loyal just like the saying, "Dogs are more loyal. Like all my dogs have been very protective of me always. Even if someone enacts to raise a hand on me they come to my defence immediately".

The actress also makes a wish, "One wish I would like to make it on this special day. First of all, I would ask God that no human treats the dog badly. If you can't help them at least be kind enough to them. Don't hit them. It is very disturbing to read or see the visuals of the dog getting beaten up. Please give food to them. I already do that also to stop their accidents I have started tying reflective belts to the street dogs".
