4 Feb – After announcing that she and fiancé Harris Alif will be tying the knot this Friday (5 Feb), Intan Ladyana stated that the event itself will be a low-key one with strict protocols.
The actress, who spoke to the media about the upcoming 'nikah' ceremony, shared that they have nearly completed all the preparations for the day, though admitted that the current situation with the pandemic made it hard for them to say for certain what would happen.
"It's hard to plan or to determine a date, what with the COVID cases increasing daily. I hope there won't be last minute changes and everything will be going well," she said.
Intan stated that the ceremony will be held at the office of the Islamic Department of Federal Territory (JAWI), and will only involve close family members.
The 38 year-old actress and 21-year old Harris have been dating since last year. Their relationship had initially raised eyebrows due to the 17 year age-gap.
In the meantime, the actress has been busying herself giving back to society by donating to a community of single mothers that are affected by the pandemic.
"I was raised by a single mother, and I saw how challenging it was for her to take care of us children... So I do understand the problems faced by single mothers and hope to help them as much as I can," she said.
