I'm A Celeb's Vicky Pattison 'Wouldn't Have Survived' The Jungle If She Was Heavier

Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison won over the nation during her stint on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, going on to be crowned Queen of the jungle following three weeks in the Aussie outback.

Now the star has admitted that she would not have survived the grueling TV show if she hadn’t lost three stone in weight last year.

Vicky shed the pounds through a strict diet and exercise regime, and revealed that it was her healthy figure that helped her win the show above anything and everything else.

The reality star explained: “Everything changed when I lost weight. I changed and I got my confidence back. I don’t think I would have done the jungle when I was bigger. I couldn’t have done the challenges and fit through the tubes.

"You have to be physically fit and strong for those challenges. It is demanding. If you are bigger you can’t do it.”

And it’s not just the jungle that the 28-year-old’s weight loss aided, with Vicky - who was 12st at her heaviest - also sharing that her career went from strength to strength after she lost weight.

She added to The Sun: “My career really did change an awful lot when I lost weight. I just didn’t get the opportunities I got when I was bigger. It has taken a long time for people to want me.

"Humour can be sexy and that’s what I’m sticking to. I don’t see myself as sexy at all. I’m just a big goofball. People have seen that side of me. I just think I’m a girl’s girl.”

Well, whether she would have survived the jungle or not, we love Vicky at any size.
