SINGAPORE – Remember when Ikea inspired fashion brands all over the world?

For years, high-end fashion brands have paid homage and brought Ikea’s design to their runways. From the Balenciaga Arena shopper tote bag that resembled the iconic Frakta blue carrier bag to brands reworking the Frakta into streetwear, one thing is for sure – we just can’t get enough!

In close collaboration with Ikea of Sweden, Ikea Japan has curated Ikea’s first-ever branded apparel capsule – Eftertrada, that offers the same simple aesthetic with minimalistic designs.

The capsule features water bottles, T-shirts, bath towels and hoodies in white, accented by Ikea’s signature blue and yellow logo. While the barcode motif on the T-shirt and hoodie gives a nod to the Ikea favourite – The Billy bookcase.

The limited collection will be available in-stores from 10 December and online from 17 December. Priced from S$3.90 onwards, the items are on a while stocks last basis.

No self-build process needed.
