Hulu Sets ‘Mindy Project’ Return, Premiere of Hugh Laurie's ‘Chance’

The Mindy Project will return for a fifth season on Oct. 4, Hulu announced Friday.
The 16-episode Season 5 will stream weekly, with new episodes debuting on Tuesdays, like it did in Season 4.

In addition, Hugh Laurie’s Chance — which already has a two-season order — will bow on Wednesday, Oct. 19. In the new series, Laurie plays the titular role of Eldon Chance, a forensic neuropsychiatrist whose affair with a woman suffering from multiple personality disorder gets even riskier when he finds out that her ex-husband is a volatile homicide detective.
Chance‘s first season will consist of 10 episodes.
