‘Star Wars Identities’ is a new, interactive exhibition which showcases over 200 original props from the galaxy far, far away… including one of Darth Vader’s original suits as well as plenty of blasters, lightsabers and even Princess Leia’s infamous gold bikini.

Even R2-D2 will be making an appearance.

The exhibition opens on 18 November 2016 and will give fans a closer look at some of your favourite ‘Star Wars’ characters.

And even create a character of your very own.

“This exhibition offers a fresh perspective on the beloved characters of Star Wars,” said Jacques-Andres Dupont, President of X3 Productions who put together the show. “We get a deeper understanding of their identities, and, at the same time, we get a deeper understanding of our own.”

The exhibition first began in Canada and has since been touring cities across Europe including Cologne and Munich… and now it’s heading to London.

All of the ‘Star Wars’ props on display have been kindly loaned to the exhibition by the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art - a museum established by the saga’s creator George Lucas.

The show also includes some very special concept art, created before the original ‘Star Wars’ trilogy, which gives exhibition goers a glimpse into the process of creating some of the most memorable characters in the galaxy far, far away.

And that apparently includes Chewbacca.

The exhibition will also include some more recent additions to the ‘Star Wars’ saga, with BB-8 making an appearance… although it’s unknown who else will be joining him from ‘Episode VII’.

‘Star Wars Identities’ heads to The O2 from 18 November 2016 until 3 September 2017.
