Hu Ge's agent fired for violating rules?

19 Jul – Producer and talent agent Karen Tsai has recently confirmed reports that her company has dismissed their agent Yao Yao, who formerly served one of their biggest stars, Hu Ge.

As reported on Epoch Times, the confirmation came after a notice of dismissal reportedly released by the company Chinese Entertainment Shanghai went viral, saying that Yao Yao has committed serious violation of company rules and regulations.

It stated that "The company and Mr. Hu Ge suffered serious financial losses and damage of reputation", and that they "reserve the right to pursue legal action".

At the end of the document, it is stated that "Our company and Mr. Hu Ge both require their employees to be honest, trustworthy, self-disciplined. It is absolutely impossible to tolerate employees who commit fraud, forgery and other illegal means of violations that eventually harm the interests of others, and destroy the industry."

When asked about it recently, Karen stated that the notice that has been circulating online is not an official statement, though the content is valid.

"The notice was released as an urgent notification to [collaborators and investors]," she said.

As for Hu Ge, Karen stated that the company has transferred all Yao Yao's responsibility to a different agent, and asked the media not to bother the Chinese actor for the time being.

However, Karen declined to elaborate more regarding Yao Yao's dismissal, saying that they will release a different statement about the matter.
