Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Zoe Anderson looks set to make a mistake in Hollyoaks next week as part of Hunter's ongoing storyline involving Freya.
Earlier this month, Hollyoaks aired a shocking twist as Freya Calder told a lie about the nature of the relationship between herself and her teacher, Hunter McQueen.
In previous episodes, Freya decided to pursue her teacher, leaving Hunter in an awkward position where he was forced to tell his student that nothing romantic would ever happen between them.
Following this, Rayne Royce released an edited version of a secret video of the conversation between Hunter and Freya, leading people to believe they were having an illegal relationship.
When new headteacher Carter was revealed to be Freya's father, he reported Hunter to the police, and Freya told the police that Hunter kissed her.
Later, Freya admitted to Zoe that she'd made the kiss up and Hunter broke things off with Zoe in order to come to terms with his past relationship with his own teacher, Neeta.
In scenes set to air next week, Hunter's family will try to convince him not to give up his career as a teacher. Worried about the alleged kiss being public knowledge, Hunter is unsure if he can continue to teach.
Opening up to Zoe about his situation, Hunter explains to her that he thinks his previous relationship with Neeta was all a lie.
In an attempt to help Hunter, Zoe surprises him with paint to cover up the mural he once drew but she gets it wrong. How will Hunter react?
Fans of the soap will remember that Hunter was involved in an affair with his teacher, Neeta Kaur, in 2017.
Things didn't end well for Neeta, who died after her fiancé, Mac Nightingale, discovered the affair and blew up Hollyoaks High School.
From Monday, September 25, Hollyoaks will stream first online via Channel 4 each weekday. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
Selected omnibus episodes are available via Prime Video.
