Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
It's becoming apparent that Freya has a crush on her art teacher. In recent scenes, she attempted to make that clear by gifting Hunter a picture depicting him as a knight in shining armour next to a damsel resembling the artist.
Unsure about how to handle the situation, Hunter opened up to John Paul, who immediately advised him to shut it down before it was too late.
Hunter asked Freya to meet up for a chat, determined to put a stop to her fantasies.
As the two were looking for somewhere quiet to talk, they bumped into Rayne, who was having lunch at the Boho Hangout. Curious about what the art teacher and his student could be doing alone, she followed them and recorded a video of their heated conversation.
Hunter was adamant nothing romantic could exist between them, despite Freya's insistences that she loved him and that she knew he felt the same. Desperate, Freya told Hunter they could be just like him and Neeta, his teacher he'd been in a relationship with.
A captivated Rayne listened on, her phone in hand. Angered at the mention of Neeta, Hunter shut Freya's love declaration down and left.
Later on, Hunter was blindsided when DS Zoe Anderson, who he had been dating, declined to have drinks with him. The detective showed him the video Rayne had uploaded to social media, capturing a potentially incriminating portion of his chat with Freya.
