Hins Cheung invites Nancy Wu as concert guest

20 Jun – Hins Cheung surprised many recently when he invited TVB actress Nancy Wu as guest performer on the second day of his "Hinsideout" concert.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer who opened his show at the Hong Kong Coliseum on 14 June, teased the actress for her low-cut sheer dress when she appeared on stage, saying, "You wear a lot of clothes on television. Why so little tonight? I almost didn't recognise you."

Hins also called Nancy by the nickname "High-Low Eyebrow", which sparked after screenshots of her imbalance eyebrows from the drama, "Deep in the Realm of Conscience" turned viral online.

On the other hand, the actress joked about Hins' peculiar choice of stage costume, saying, "I want to steal the limelight. You wear a lot of suits on weekdays. Seeing you dressing like a lady tonight, I almost wanted to vomit."

The actress then proceeded to perform "No Regrets", the theme to her aforementioned drama.

In an interview with the media soon after, Hins revealed that he had known Nancy for more than ten years, and that the actress also starred in his music video, "Aftershock" in the past.

"I was so happy when Nancy agreed to be a guest on my show," he said.

The actress chimed in, saying that she was so excited after receiving the invitation from Hins that she couldn't sleep.

"I couldn't wait for morning to come so that I could call the producer immediately and apply for leave so that I could be Hins' guest," she enthused.
