Watch Hillary Clinton’s Intro From Morgan Freeman and Shonda Rhimes (Video)

Before her rousing speech to accept the Democratic party’s presidential nomination on Thursday, Hillary Clinton’s life and career were celebrating in a movie-quality video montage narrated by golden-voiced actor Morgan Freeman and produced by Shonda Rhimes.

Never doubt that the former Secretary of State has friends in Hollywood.

Also produced by Rhimes’ fellow “Scandal” executive producer Betsy Beers, the video featured interviews with President Barack Obama and former President Bill Clinton.

“It is an honor to provide America with an intimate portrait of Hillary,” said “Grey’s Anatomy” showrunner Rhimes in a statement. “Everyone already knows the powerhouse — now, with this piece, everyone will also get to know the person.”

Simply titled “Hillary,” the video involved the filmmakers sitting down with Clinton at her kitchen table.

“I wanted everyone who sees it to feel like they were sitting with a friend, drinking coffee, so that had to be authentic,” Rhimes told People.

There’s just one thing: Clinton passed on the coffee, Rhimes said.

“Hillary drank tea, actually. You can’t drink coffee for five hours and expect her not to bounce off the walls,” says Rhimes.
