Hilaria Baldwin shares photo of daughter's black eye after fall: 'She's OK'
Hilaria Baldwin is sharing the not so pleasant aspects of motherhood.
On Sunday, the 38-year-old wife of "30 Rock" actor Alec Baldwin took to Instagram to share a photo of their 20-month-old daughter, Marilú, sporting a runny nose and a "shiner."
Marilú accidentally gave herself a black eye from falling and hitting her face on a metal table.
"You’ll see this shiner for a while (and hopefully less of a runny nose. Ugh, this time of year)," she captioned the post for her 984,000 followers. "I was out with my oldest four yesterday and got that awful call that makes your heart sink, telling me Marilú had fallen and hit her face on a metal table leg."
"She’s OK, thank goodness," the mom-of-seven assured her fans. "It was just scary, and will be bruised for a while."
In the comments, fans were thankful that Marilú is doing well.
"Oh, poor Marilú. She really is the sweetest thing. I’m glad she is OK," an Instagram user commented.
Another wrote: "Poor baby. I'm so glad she’s okay!"
"Poor little sweetheart. Get well soon," someone else penned.
"Omg, thank god she is fine. She will recover soon, she is strong like her mother," added another.
Last month, Baldwin opened up about her postpartum experience after welcoming her youngest daughter, Ilaria, in September. The yoga instructor shared two "almost identical" photos — one showcasing her baby bump, and the other cradling her four-week-old baby.
She shared that while pregnancy and postpartum can be challenging, she treasures these milestone moments.
"I treasure these almost identical photos that [Eroula Dimitriou Photography] takes when baby is inside and out," she wrote. "As much as pregnancy and newborn phases can be hard, I’m so happy I have these to remember for always."
Baldwin also explained the physical changes her body has experienced due to pregnancy and breastfeeding.
"Even the uncomfortably huge…" she added, alongside a baby bottle and cow emoji. "Literally beginning from my neck. Thank goodness four weeks later, they’ve calmed down. Oh, nature and your ways."
