Hermes petit h collection is available for public viewing on 22 November

SINGAPORE – The acclaimed Hermès petit h collection is making a stopover in Singapore, and will be available for public viewing from 22 November to 15 December 2019. But what is petit h, you ask? Founded by Pascale Mussard, and under the artistic direction of Godefroy de Virieu since 2018, petit h atelier upcycles materials for which other Hermès métiers have no further use, turning them into beautiful, functional works of art.

Artisans around the world work on handcrafting unique objects such as a mountain sheep, which left for Geneva, Switzerland, to be exhibited alongside other unique pieces in the Hermès store on Lake Geneva. In December, the baby bear travelled from Paris to Hermès’ flagship store on Madison Avenue in New York for a temporary exhibition.

Inspired by Singapore’s vegetation, the studio created a few objet d’art such as — a fish-shaped bag, a suspended vase and a mushroom paperweight. Peek some of the items to be exhibited at Hermès Liat Tower on the second and third floor of the store.
