Henry Golding announces the birth of first baby
7 Apr – "Crazy Rich Asians" star Henry Golding is now officially a dad.
The Malaysian-British actor shared the good news on 6 April with a photo of him and his wife with their newborn baby, writing, "This woman right here. Beyond anything I could have ever imagined. Your strength brought us our greatest joy. Thank you, I love you."
Celebrity friends from all over the globe including Yuna, Joey Mead King, Olivia Munn, Iko Uwais and presenter Steve Lai took to the comments to congratulate the actor for his bundle of joy, with the latter jokingly commented, "Congrats and welcome to the no-sleep club."
On the other hand, Golding's wife and TV host Liv Lo shared a series of photos of her on her hospital bed, writing, "On March 31st, our lives changed forever."
She then added that she will be leaving Instagram temporarily to focus on taking care of her newborn.
Golding also left a comment on the post, saying, "Love you, Mama Bear."
Golding and Lo announced that they were expecting back in November last year. The couple tied the knot at the Cove 55 resort in Sarawak, Malaysia in 2016.
