Heidi Klum has filed for an emergency hearing as she claimed ex-husband Seal is refusing to let her take their four children to Germany.
The 47-year-old is set to film the upcoming season of Germany's Next Top Model in October, but she has alleged Seal, real name Henry Olusegun Adeola Samuel, is preventing her from taking their kids Leni, 16, Henry, 14, Johan, 13, and Lou, 10, out of the U.S.
In the legal documents filed on Thursday, the America's Got Talent judge said that the singer does not want their children to travel to Europe over Covid-19 fears.
Klum said that her kids usually accompany her when she has to travel for work, and while she claims Seal apparently approved the trip back in April, he has since reneged on his decision.
"I am well aware of all of the necessary precautions associated with the Covid-19 virus, and would never put our children at risk – I have taken all the precautions for Germany the same way I do in the United States," she wrote in her declaration.
"I tried to work this out with Henry directly to no avail," Klum explained, before adding that the children have said they do not want to stay in Los Angeles with their father.
"It could not possibly be in their best interests," the model wrote.
Their 16-year-old daughter Leni also submitted a declaration to the court, and said that she and her siblings wanted to travel to Germany with their mother, as it would allow them to also see their grandparents.
She also wrote a handwritten letter to her father, obtained by The Blast, in which she pleaded with the singer to let them travel.
Klum and Seal's divorce was finalised in October 2014 after nine years of marriage.
