When it comes to gingham and plaid, LA-based designer Heather Taylor has mastered the art of pattern mixing. In her newest collaboration with West Elm, she's making it easy for you to refresh your home for the summer season. The 100+-piece collection has products ranging from pillows to outdoor accessories. Each piece speaks to Taylor’s signature look and the color palette for the collection embodies the vibrancy of summer.

“I believe in designing timeless pieces that elevate everyday moments at home, whether it’s a normal weekday breakfast or a Sunday backyard picnic with my kids,” says Taylor in a statement. “My collection for West Elm is classic and fresh with a joyful color palette of Goldenrod yellow, berry, and sage, in easy-to-mix-and-match patterns that add modern style to every summer occasion. Each piece is beautifully designed to be easy to clean, affordable, and work for real life.”

The mother of two takes much of her inspiration for this collection from motherhood and wants her piece to help serve as a time capsule of the precious time one spends with their family. “I love the idea of your family using these linens for everyday breakfast or Friday night dinner, and the patterns becoming imprinted in the memories of your family, "she says. You can find the trendy yet classic collection exclusively on the West Elm website, with prices ranging from $24.50 up to $600.
