Unlike fellow parents-to-be across the nation, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex needn’t stock up on baby products – as the royal couple has already received an impressive number of gifts from the public.

According to stats released by the Royal Family, Harry and Meghan were given hundreds of presents during their tour of Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand in September 2018.

A newly-published register reveals that the newlyweds were handed approximately 97 soft toys which included 11 koala bears, four kiwis and five kangaroos.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex needn’t stock up on baby blankets either, as they reportedly received 10 in total alongside three shawls, 14 booties and two bibs – some of which were lovingly handmade by fans.

Thankfully, some quick thinking well-wishers decided to give the royal couple a large toy box where the expectant parents will be able to store the plethora of presents.

What’s most surprising about the 26-page list of gifts is that the pregnancy had only been announced the day before the royal tour kicked off with the Duchess of Sussex in her second trimester.
