Hannah Quinlivan admits challenge being a young mother
9 May – Hannah Quinlivan recently admitted that it's not easy being a mother of two in her early 20s, as she would sometimes feel "selfish" about her own needs.
As reported on Epoch Times, the 25-year-old actress, who spoke about motherhood and her career in an interview recently, shared that there are pros and cons of being a mother at such a young age, with the benefit being that it was easier for her to be close to her two children and befriend them because of it.
However, Hannah admitted that she would struggle to control her temper sometimes.
"As a young woman, it's hard for me to stay at home. There are still many things I want to do, but at the same time, I want my children to be around. Thus, we would often fly around the world with our kids and they would get distressed by the jet lag," she said.
Hannah added, "Sometimes I think that I really am a selfish mother."
In earlier interviews, Hannah admitted that husband Jay Chou respected her wishes to develop her career after marriage, and would take a break from work to play the role of a parent to kids Hathaway and Romeo while she's away. However, the couple always made sure not to be away from their kids too long so not to break the bond between them.
