There are a couple of nightmare scenarios when it comes to running a race: You might injure something. You might not be able to complete it. You might get your period. You might actually have to run all of those miles (therein lies the horror for some people).

Two of those things happened for one young woman running a half marathon in Philadelphia on Sunday: Her knees gave out toward the finish line and she couldn't finish the race - that is, until two fellow runners swooped in to help.

In a video that's since gone viral, one guy, seemingly without hesitation, leans in to check on the woman as her legs collapse beneath her, and another man comes in from the other side. They scoop her up under the armpits, and together the three complete the race.

An organizer of the half-marathon told ABC News that while they've identified the runner, they're not releasing her name. That's a shame, because I'd love to hear about the beers and pizza these three new BFFs grabbed when the race was over.
