Hair shadow, the Korean beauty product that can make hairlines look fuller

We obviously can’t get enough of Korean beauty products that work. This time, we’re focusing on the hair shadow, which helps to make hairlines look fuller so you can dazzle with that ponytail without feeling insecure about your wide forehead. And yes, they can make your face look smaller too!

If we can contour our faces, cleavage, neck, and even collarbones, why not our hairlines too, right?

So it looks like South Korean girls have been filling their hairlines with these hair shadows to create the appearance of a fuller and more even hairline. The effect is immediate and dramatic, making your hair look luscious almost as soon as you apply it.

These products contain pigments and powders in brown or black that are designed to mimic the colour of your natural hair. All you then have to do is use these products to shade in any gaps in your hairline, especially areas near your temple, where the hair tends to thin.

An informative video by Youtuber Tina Yong shows you just what magic hair shadow can work. We’ve also listed all the hair shadow products available on various retail sites that offer shipping to Singapore.

Mamonde’s Pang Pang Hair Shadow (what a cute name) was one of the first products on the market for the sole purpose of creating a fuller hairline. Prior to this, most people just used regular brown or black eyeshadow to fill in any gaps in their hairline. It comes in three colours (Baby Face Hair, Light Brown and Reddish Brown) and there’s a cushion puff applicator attached. Simply dip the applicator in the pressed powder and apply to your hairline. It’s water-resistant and can be easily removed with facial cleanser or shampoo.
