The sister trio has announced a five-date trek to promote their forthcoming third album, "Women In Music Pt. III," which will be released on April 24.
The mini tour will find Danielle, Estee and Alana Haim performing at select delis across the United States, as a nod to the cover of "Women In Music Pt. III" in which the sisters pose behind the counter at Los Angeles delicatessen Canter's Deli.
The photograph was notably shot by American filmmaker and frequent collaborator Paul Thomas Anderson, who also helmed the new visual for "The Steps."
"Our first show ever was at canter's deli in 2000 so we decided we want to play shows at different delis across America to celebrate our new record. We've never done anything like this before so let's all get together and eat some matzo ball soup and we'll play you some songs live. Maybe some new ones??" they wrote in a statement on Instagram.
The Deli Tour will kick off this Tuesday, March 10 in New York City, before traveling to Washington, DC (March 11), Chicago (March 12), Denver and Los Angeles (dates to be announced).
Prior to hitting the road, Haim recently performed their latest single, "The Steps," on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."
The heartfelt song arrived on the heels of the official announcement of "Women in Music Part III," whose production was overseen by Rostam Batmanglij, Danielle Haim as well as her romantic partner and Vampire Weekend producer, Ariel Rechtshaid.
"The name came to me in a dream and I woke up laughing, so I told my sisters," Danielle said in a statement, with Alana adding "I liked it because we are literally women in music and we always get written about that way."
"It seemed cool to make it our own and control the narrative. It made me think about some of our experiences more," she continued.
Details about the much-anticipated follow-up to 2017's "Something To Tell You" are still scarce to this date, although recently-released singles suggest that Haim is in a more introspective period.
Fans can sign up for the trio's Deli Tour in a dedicated website, where they have to fill in a form to indicate the location they are interested in attending.
