  • Hailey Baldwin has revealed that she regularly takes Instagram breaks.

  • The model opened up in her Instagram Stories writing, "Being off Instagram is the best thing ever. Whenever I take breaks from it I feel so much better so much happy [sic] as a person.. the second I come back on I get immediate anxiety, I get sad and I get worked up."

  • Baldwin married Justin Bieber back in September, according to a report in TMZ. Baldwin has since changed her Instagram name to "Hailey Bieber," confirming that she is, in fact, married to the pop star.

Since rekindling her relationship, subsequently marrying, and moving to Canada with Justin Bieber, Hailey Baldwin has been keenly thrust into the spotlight. And it seems that the model has developed smart ways for dealing with unwanted, or negative, online attention.

Posting on her Instagram Stories this weekend, Baldwin wrote, "It's hard to focus on your well being and mental health when each time you open Instagram someone is tearing apart your job, or your relationship or essentially any of the things in your life that are positive." So her solution for avoiding online trolls and general negativity? "I take breaks from it," the model explained:

And even though "negativity screams so loud," Baldwin also mentioned the benefits of being on social media, such as to "stay in touch and interact with others."

She continued, "I just don't believe we're called to live a life where we're so easily caught up in strangers opinions on something they have NOTHING to do with... we need to express more love and encouragement to one another instead of consistently tearing people down and judging."

In conclusion, Baldwin said that "won't let people make me feel like I'm doing something wrong by enjoying my life and being happy." Her words are an important reminder that the internet can be a dark place, but that a little kindness goes a long way.
