Hailey Bieber has teamed up with Levi's to encourage Americans to vote in the upcoming election.
The 23-year-old model approached executives at the American denim brand with an idea for a public service announcement and they made her vision a reality with the help of Invisible Portraits director Oge Egbuonu.
"I had a vision to put together a beautiful and powerful call to action to educate and inform the next generation of voters," she said in a statement. "Oge is an incredible force and she really helped me bring my idea to life. This election to me is the most important in my lifetime and I'm at the age now where I truly understand the impact my generation and the next has. My hope with this call to action is that it would encourage, educate and inspire this next generation to vote in November and to understand why it's important."
In the black and white PSA, Hailey encourages Americans to vote on 3 November while wearing a grey hoodie from the new Levi's voting-themed collection, denim shorts, and hoop earrings.
She is joined by famous faces including Jaden Smith, Miguel, Danny Trejo, 13 Reasons Why actors Ross Butler and Brandon Flynn, and Crazy Rich Asians director Jon M. Chu, most of whom wear pieces from the collection, which is compromised of T-shirts, sweaters, and hoodies.
Sharing the PSA on Instagram, Hailey wrote in the caption, "There’s no time to waste! I’ve teamed up with @levis, @ogetheyogi and some of our dear friends to create a PSA that hopefully educates and motivates the 70 million young eligible voters to make sure they participate in voting in this years (sic) election!"
As part of the initiative, Levi Strauss & Co. and the Levi Strauss Foundation are donating a collective $2.6 million (£1.9 million) to voting rights organisations such as the ACLU, Black Futures Lab, and Rock the Vote, among others.
