Hailey Bieber explains 'crooked and scary' pinky fingers

Hailey Bieber has hit back at trolls who have criticised her "crooked and scary" pinky fingers.

The model took to Instagram on Tuesday night to address negative comments about the appearance of her hands, following the debut of her popstar husband Justin Bieber's Seasons docuseries.

"OK, let's get into the pinky conversation... because I've made fun of myself about this for forever so I might as well just tell everyone else why they're so crooked and scary," she wrote on her Instagram Stories.

Hailey then shared a screen capture from a Wikipedia page and explained that she suffers from a condition called ectrodactyly.

"It causes my pinky finger to look the way they do. It's genetic, I've had it my whole life. So, people can stop asking me 'WTF (what the f**k) is wrong with her pinky fingers' here is what's wrong," the 23-year-old stated, adding: "Please stop roasting me about my pinky fingers."

Ectrodactyly is a rare form of a congenital disorder in which the development of the hand is disturbed. Other celebrities with ectrodactyly include radio talk show host and actress Bree Walker, as well as Lee Hee-ah, a Korean pianist with only two fingers on each hand.

New episodes of Seasons, which details the Sorry hitmaker's comeback with new album Changes and battle with Lyme disease following years away from the spotlight, debuts Mondays and Wednesdays on YouTube.
