Hacken Lee postpones directorial debut

26 Apr – Although he previously planned to direct his own movie, Hacken Lee recently revealed that the project will not be implemented this year.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer who appeared on a radio show to promote his new song, shared that while he originally wanted to write his own movie and direct it himself, he had to postpone his plans due to his hectic schedule.

"I have the synopsis already, but I hope to create my own team of writers before I start doing it," he said.

When asked if he will star in it, Hacken laughed and said, "I am not going to act. How well can I perform? If I was good, I would have won Best Actor. I don't want to ruin the box office."

The singer said that while EEG Chairman Albert Yeung has given him the greenlight, his goal is not to lose money.

"I want my first time as a director to not be my last!" he added.
