S.H.E is excited to perform at the 30th Golden Melody Awards
25 Jun – Popular trio S.H.E is excited to unite and perform at the upcoming stage of the 30th Golden Melody Awards.
As reported on Epoch Times, Selina, Hebe, and Ella stated that they are looking forward to bringing a wonderful performance to the audience in honour of the awards' 30th year.
When asked why they chose to perform their new song "Seventeen" at the event, the trio stated that the song was very significant for them.
"It has been 17 years since our debut, and you can say that it means half of our lives were spent with the fans of the Chinese music," they said.
S.H.E is also happy that the song has been nominated in the Song of the Year category, as well as Best Music Video. "Seventeen" will be competing against songs like Jolin Tsai's "Womxnly", Eason Chan's "To Be Together", and Sandy Lam's "Core".
"We are very honoured to be able to participate in this event with all the best artistes," they said.
The 30th Golden Melody Awards will be held in Taipei this 29 June.
