Gwyneth Paltrow has shared her Christmas list on Goop – and the offering includes a £33 pack of loo roll.

The actor-turned-entrepreneur’s lifestyle website, founded 11 years ago, has faced a mixed response for its pricey products and sometimes controversial health advice.

And its latest initiative is a series of 2019 holiday gift guides – broken up into very specific sections, including gifts for travellers, wellness junkies and cooks.

The wellness gift list includes a £33 pack of loo roll pegged as “toilet paper with a conscience”. The 24 roll bumper pack is plastic-free and made from 100% bamboo. An, ahem, bog standard 24-roll toilet paper pack can be purchased for less than £14 on Amazon.

Also in the wellness section is a £470 weight blanket.

Her “lovers” gift guide includes £11 matches to help “spark romance” and £63 body oil.

The men’s gifts section features a “Big Bertha” foam roller slash water bottle priced at £58, and a £70 cigar cutter.

There’s also a “ridiculous but awesome” gift guide, where the piece de resistance is a $250,000 (£193,000) trip to space.

She’s not the only celebrity to release a pricey Christmas list – Victoria Beckham recently shared a Christmas gift guide pegged as “little luxuries”, but the cheapest item on offer was £95.

Paltrow has previously faced a fair amount of backlash for her Goop offering.

Earlier this year she faced criticism for her promotion of a controversial

Last year, a consumer protection lawsuit was filed against the company for its vaginal eggs – which the former actress claims “cultivate sexual energy, clear chi pathways in the body, intensify femininity and invigorate our life force”.

Goop agreed to pay $145,000 (approx £111,846) to settle the allegations.

The rose quartz egg and the jade egg are still listed on the Goop website for £50 and £60 respectively, although without a description of what they are used for.
