Gucci reopens revamped Singapore flagship store at Marina Bay Sands
Gucci has reopened its newly refreshed flagship boutique at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Spanning two floors with a combined floor space of 10,555 sq ft, the expansive store houses a beautiful array of products for both men and women. This includes ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, jewellery, and accessories, as well as Gucci Décor and the recently launched Gucci Lifestyle collection. Most notably, the boutique also houses limited-edition items specially created for the brand's 100th birthday.
Mandopop star JJ Lin headlined the star-studded launch event last evening.
Local top actresses Fann Wong, Jeanette Aw, Rebecca Lim and Oon Shu An added to the glitz and glamour of the night.
Also in attendance were homegrown musical talents Nathan Hartono, Joel Tan (Gentle Bones), Jasmine Sokko, Dharni, Aisyah Aziz, Jonathan Chua, Fariz Jabba, Narelle Kheng and Shye-Anne Brown, as well as fashion influencers Yoyo Cao, Mae Tan, Willabelle Ong and Amanda Chaang.
The guests were treated to a stunning art wall installation created by local crochet fairy Kelly Lim (Kelly Limerick), using fabrics from the Gucci Aria collection. Guests were then transported to Floral Fantasy at Gardens by the Bay, where Gucci had reinvented the space to create an immersive and memorable experience.
The event marks Gucci as the first to brand the iconic Rain Oculus at Marina Bay Sands with its centennial print for its 100th-year celebration.
The hotel towers of Marina Bay Sands and ArtScience Museum were also lit last night in colours referencing the house's signature Gucci Web and those recalling the Gucci Aria collection.
