But will ‘Guardians of the Galaxy 2’ manage a record-breaking haul?

It’s already tracking a lot of buzz online, and as we know from the likes of ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’, Marvel sequels tend to build on the success of their predecessors. Also, let’s be honest – the first movie was a huge surprise hit – surely the sequel will do even better?

For now, we’ll have to wait and see.

‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ stars Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Kurt Russell, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Sylvester Stallone, and Pom Klementieff.

James Gunn both wrote and directed the movie.

‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ opened in cinemas on 28 April 2017.
