GSC MyTown has the biggest screen in Malaysia!

25 May – GSC Cinemas has recently opened their newest branch at MyTown, Cheras, which also happens to have a GSC MAXX that boasts the biggest screen in Malaysia.
The giant screen measures up to 21.6m (w) x 11.9m (h) and the hall is equipped with D-Box motion seats, Dolby Atmos sound system and sound quality THX.

"GSC MyTown, Cheras offers the largest MAXX screen in Malaysia and combined with the D-Box and Dolby Atmos, viewers will experience something that is quite special," said GSC Chief Executive Officer, Ms Koh Mei Lee.
Other than the big screen, Koh Mei Lee said that the new branch also brings moviegoers a 5-star Premiere Class hall.
GSC MyTown altogether has 13 screens with a seating capacity of 1,835.

The opening of this newest GSC is just in time for the release of a lot of blockbuster films such as "Baywatch", "Wonder Woman", "The Mummy", "Despicable Me 3", "Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge", "Transformers: The Last Knight" and many more.
Moreover, GSC is also actively conducting various promotions for the customers at GSC MyTown including the provision of free tickets, movie posters, glass Coke bottle combo sets, "Pirates of the Caribbean" Treasure Chest, "Wonder Woman" Playstation and many more.
GSC is also currently collaborating with Grab Car to hand out discounts to the customers who visit MyTown, Cheras.
In addition, GSC MyTown patrons no longer have to make a long queue to buy tickets over the counter, now they can immediately purchase the tickets at the GSC E-Kiosk that was recently introduced, which uses QR ticketing technology, thus saving time for moviegoers.

After this, GSC will continue to expand their business with the planned opening of two more branches in Malaysia, namely at Melawati Mall and Paradigm, Johor Bahru.
