Gregory Wong is thankful to Chapman To and Kristal Tin

6 Jan – Gregory Wong admitted that he was extremely grateful to Chapman To and his wife Kristal Tin for giving him a job during the toughest period of his life.

As reported on Epoch Times, the actor, who signed with Chapman To to be the first paid artiste of his platform www.lateshow.net, stated that he was very depressed at one time over his financial situation, as he was facing huge litigation fees for charges of illegal entry and rioting after storming into the Legislative Chamber during the 1 July 2019 protest.

If found guilty, Gregory can face a ten-year imprisonment sentence.

"I am very grateful at Kristal's optimistic thinking. She gave me a great encouragement, saying that Chapman will gather a group of like-minded industry professionals to produce different types of programmes so that Hong Kong people can help other Hong Kong people," he said.

Gregory added that the platform is also a form of counter-action to assist Hong Kong artistes who have been blocked by the mainland market.

"Chapman's spirit is contagious. His heartfelt words can really inspire morale, like a general who is leading an army to war," he said.

As for his court case, the actor revealed that he is just one of the many who are facing similar situation and need a lot of financial help to bear the cost of their legal defense.
