‘Will & Grace’ Distracts Media On Debate Day With Reunion Video – Update

UPDATE, 4:55 PM: Mystery solved. The cast of Will & Grace did, in fact, reunite for a video in support of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. The nearly 10-minute video was uploaded a bit ago, ahead of tonight’s face-off between Clinton and GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump. You can check it out above.

PREVIOUS, 1:45 PM: An oddly timed stunt has pundits who cover TV speculating that the cast of Will & Grace is about to issue a video in support of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton after they spent the weekend tweeting photos of themselves with cryptic messages such as:

… and a group shot of Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally with the message “We’re baaaaack!”:

Today, the W&G gang tweeted a video of which industry navel-gazers are making much, because it cryptically spells out, in red words, the message “Will & Grace is back,” and because Mullally’s Karen Walker character can be heard at the end chirping, “Make America bueno again!”

NBC sources say the network is not involved in the presumed-to-be-political stunt that’s expected to play out by debate time tonight.

Earlier this month, cast members of another much-loved, long-running NBC primetime series, The West Wing, issued a pro-Clinton video PSA. Clinton of course, is,running against former NBC long-running primetime star Donald Trump. NBC is not responding to requests for comment, so far, on this debate-day bright-shiny light:
