Grace Chan slowly adapts to motherhood

30 Apr – Although it had been a tough first month for Grace Chan and Kevin Cheng as new parents, the actress recently stated that she has now adapted herself to being a new mother.

As reported on On CC, the actress, who spoke about son Rafael recently, shared that she now has a better understanding of her son than she was in the first few weeks after his birth.

"Now I can tell what his cries means, if he was crying because he was hungry, or because he needed a diaper change," she said.

However, that does not mean that she is ready to return to work anytime soon.

"I want to focus on being a "professional mother" first," she joked. "So right now, Kevin will have to take the responsibility of earning money."

When asked if the two of them often see each other despite his hectic schedule, Grace said that they have arranged so that he could always see their son on Facetime.

"Kevin can't wait for the day that our baby can play tennis with him. He even asked me at what age the baby can play with him. I told him the baby wouldn't even be able to walk at one. He has to wait," she said with a laugh.
