Grace Chan has no issues with rape scenes

17 Nov – TVB actress Grace Chan recently shared that she will welcome TVB's new guidelines with no qualms, although admitted that she never had any issues about her dressing and acting before.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who was asked about TVB's banning of rape scenes, shared that she has yet to receive such notice from the company, but will respect the new rules all the same.

Speaking about her own rape scenes in the previous drama, "Brother's Keeper II", Grace said that she has no issues with it.

"Everyone has their own different definition of sex. I believe that as long as it is for art, it's fine," she said.

Grace said that when she was filming the controversial scene with actor Hugo Wong, she would sit down and communicate with him first. She stressed that it happened under reasonable circumstances, and that there was nothing that could cause discomfort.

As for rules that female artistes should have a fellow female colleague to accompany them on work outside of Hong Kong, Grace said that it's a reasonable rule as it would ensure an artiste's safety.
