Gordon Chan denies sexually harassing Zheng Shuang
19 Apr - Hong Kong director Gordon Chan recently expressed anger over rumours that he sexually harassed Chinese actress Zhang Shuang.
As reported on Mingpao, earlier it was reported that an unidentified actress made the allegation saying that the director had sexually harassed Zheng during the production of the 2011 movie, "Mural".
In response to the allegations, Gordon released his own statement saying, "A friend of mine asked for verification. I didn't pay too much attention to such gossips, but these [allegations] came out from the mouth of a distinguished actress, so I have to pay attention."
"I do not know where this actress got this news, but I am very willing to confront her. If you do not dare to stand up and speak up, please stop these irresponsible remarks immediately. Otherwise, I will hold you accountable," he added.
The response had since triggered speculations among many as to the identity of the said "distinguished" actress.
