South Korean singer and actor Yook Sung-jae will be coming to Singapore to perform at ION Orchard’s outdoor fashion concert on 29 September, in line with celebrations for the mall’s eighth anniversary.

The 22-year-old is well-known among K-pop fans for being a member of boy group BtoB. He also starred in the wildly popular drama “Goblin” as Yoo Deok-hwa, alongside stars such as Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook. His appearance was teased by ION Orchard last week on their Facebook page.

According to a press release on Friday (18 August), the concert area will be located at the outdoor event space outside of the mall’s entrance. The concert will start at 7pm and fans can expect Sung-jae to perform six of his most popular songs.

Singaporean band 53A has been scheduled as the opening act for the concert, which will also include a fashion show wit 24 models showcasing Autumn/Winter collections by brands such as Salvatore Ferragamo, Dsquared, Carven, DKNY, and Hardy Hardy, among others.

Fans who would like to catch Sung-jae will need to register for a complimentary ION+ Rewards Membership or be an existing member. All performances will also be streamed live onto screens that will be made available on-site.

The outdoor fashion concert is a culmination of a series of events that have been happening across eight months since March as part of the mall’s anniversary celebration.
