Glaiza de Castro not in a rush to marry
27 Jan – Glaiza de Castro recently admitted that she and fiancé David Rainey are not in a rush to marry despite being engaged since Christmas last year.
As reported on ABS-CBN, the actress revealed that they have not planned to have their wedding this year or even in 2022, stating that the most important thing right now is how to unite both their families.
"His family is in Ireland and my family is here. We are thinking about how they will meet so that they don't have to worry about travelling," she said.
de Castro stated that she hopes that with the COVID vaccines being distributed worldwide, the travel restrictions will be lifted soon and that they could finally make the plans.
On the other hand, the singer also admitted that she still couldn't believe she is now engaged, as the proposal from Rainey was unexpected.
"He talked to my parents, he talked to the sisters, but he did not tell his parents. But it was just on my third day when he proposed and until now I still feel surreal," she said.
