Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun and U-Kiss' Jun (Lee Jun-Young) have been confirmed as leads in Netflix’s upcoming webtoon-to-movie adaptation, Moral Sense.

Based on the webtoon Moral Sense, the sex-themed romantic comedy tells the story of a man with an unusual sexual preference for women, and a woman who knows his secret.

Rising star Jun will play the role of Jung Ji Hoo, a seemingly clean-cut office worker who is popular with the female employees in the company. He is, however, hiding his taste in BDSM to himself until his female co-worker accidentally opens his mail to reveal a leash and discovers his preference.

Seohyun will be playing the female lead, Jung Ji Woo, who will take charge of the relationship with her male co-worker after she finds out about his hidden sexual preference for women.

Moral Sense will be Seohyun’s Korean movie debut, having previously starred in a Chinese movie in 2016. A member of the Korean girl-group Girls’ Generation, Seohyun had been praised for her acting in dramas such as Bad Thief, Good Thief, and Private Lives.

Netflix had previously stated that its spending in South Korea will top US$500 million in 2021, with other Netflix Originals such as Hellbound and Carter in the works.

Moral Sense will be released on Netflix but the date of the premiere has yet to be revealed.
