Basically everyone on the planet could use a little extra motivation when it comes to pushing through a tough workout - something 8-year-old Allysson Baires knows all too well.

As her older cousin Briseyda Ponce explained in an interview with BuzzFeed, the young girl recently admitted that she wanted to join her for a run after a few kids at school - including her crush, Hector - had called her fat. While Briseyda made it clear that anyone who would bully her and use "fat" as an insult wasn't worthy of her affections, Allysson still wanted to join her cousin, and the two set off on Briseyda's daily run.

At some point, Briseyda turned around to check on her cousin. She then realized the 8-year-old had whipped out a Rice Krispies treat tucked into the waistband of her shorts - and was happily munching away on it for a mid-run snack. Briseyda immediately burst out laughing.

The pair then cut their run short and finished the last leg of their journey at a walking pace.

“I [explained] to her how beauty isn’t physical, and if she wants to work out or run it has to because she wants to be healthy, not because of others’ opinions about her body,” she told BuzzFeed.

Briseyda then decided to share a few photos of Allysson on their run to Twitter, where she was quick to go viral and become the internet's new hero. In response, many praised Allysson for being a relatable queen who most definitely has her priorities in order. Meanwhile, others were quick to drag Hector for being completely unworthy of Allysson's love.

Not all heroes wear capes, y'all.
